FAQs
I know I want to leave, but I’m not sure what I want next. Is this still a fit?
Yes. You don’t need the direction before you start. Finding it is the first stage. The goal is a direction you can defend and explain, not one you’re guessing at.
What if I’m changing function or industry, not just company?
That’s supported. The work maps your transferable strengths, defines the new role and scope precisely, and adjusts your positioning so the story holds even across a full change of field.
I’m tempted to apply broadly and see what sticks. Why not just do that?
Applying broadly usually creates noise, not momentum. This work narrows your targets deliberately, aligns your signal with what the market is actually hiring for, and builds a system that compounds instead of scattering effort.
How is this different from resume writing or interview prep services?
Those work on one piece in isolation. This is end-to-end: direction, market targeting, positioning assets, a networking system, and interview readiness, all connected. The goal isn’t to look good on paper, it’s to move with strategic clarity.
What if burnout, not role misalignment, turns out to be the real issue?
That’s worth naming honestly rather than guessing at from a page. Burnout ranges widely, from workable depletion to something that needs a different kind of support entirely, and no page can make that call accurately. A short discovery call sorts this out directly, and where you land afterward, including possibly a different kind of support, comes out of that conversation, not a guess made here.
How much implementation is expected during the 6 to 8 weeks?
A meaningful amount. You’ll be applying, reaching out, and iterating as you go, not after. The container is short by design, so steady weekly follow-through matters more than over-planning upfront.
What if interviews specifically are where I lose it? I don’t struggle with landing interviews, I struggle with converting them.
Then Stage 5 does more of the heavy lifting for you. We sharpen your career story, pressure-test your answers against the objections you will actually get, and calibrate delivery so it holds up under interruption rather than in a rehearsed run-through.
What if I get an offer and need help negotiating it?
That’s Offer Navigation, a separate, bounded module that activates once you have an offer or a firm verbal commitment on the table. It covers evaluating the offer, negotiation framing, and landing planning, so old patterns don’t repeat in a new context. Pricing for this is discussed directly once it’s relevant, not published here, since it only makes sense once there is an offer to talk about.
The first stage is direction, so you don’t need to arrive with an answer already. A call is where we work out whether the timing is right and whether a move is the thing that helps.
